Avon EDTs/AS

Having recently rediscovered Avon frags via vintage Wild Country AS, I'm curious about the opinion of Avon frags around here. They don't seem to get a lot of attention except for the various decanters.

I have not used any Avon colognes/AS in years, but growing up I would get a bottle every year from a relative. I remember the Wild Country fragrance, is it still being produced by Avon?

Yes, it is. Tho, a member said that it a little different (lighter?) than the vintage stuff.

I think we have a woman in our office who sells Avon. I will ask her for a book to check out the AS/Colognes. I'm sure I'll get some Wild Country just for the nostalgia :)

Cool. Maybe she can find out what (if any) the change in the frag has been over the years.

You can now also order directly on line at avon.com

The modern Wild Country is good, the Black Suede is a gem, I like the Blue Rush though it is probably not for everybody, and the rest are kinda hit or miss imo.

None of them are overly strong or super long lasting imo - they're nice office/workplace colognes, which is probably what they are intended to be.

Agree with the Wild Country and Black Suede aftershaves. The best Avon EDT, I think, is Tomorrow. A soft, elegant gourmand scent. Chocolate, caramel and mint, done properly. It's A*men without the steroids. Just wish it lasted longer.

I got my hands on some modern Wild country today.... definitely seems less mellow/sharper, not as rich and more powdery than the vintage stuff. Nice, but not as nice as vintage. There also seems to be a sharper/higher alcohol content in the modern.
