If Avon's late '60s era Spicy is in the O.S. ballpark - and it is - an even closer, powderier, more complex match to O.S. is Avon's Brisk Spice. It appears to have been released in the very late '70s or early '80s, which is why its relative rarity is so puzzling given that you can find GALLONS of all the other names that go back 10 years ealier. I've found Brisk Spice exactly once in the wild, in a rather ornate (for an Avon bottle) 1986 steam engine that cost more than I wanted to pay (but I did dab a bit on). When it comes up on d'bay it's usually pretty pricey. Why? Dunno. Maybe it just wasn't out that long.
Anyway, Brisk Spice was clearly calculated to end up like O.S., and the result comes much closer than Spicy. So be on the lookout! You may find the golden ticket and the Brisk Spice.
