I am fortunate that I selected the Puck version rather than a stick, as it has seemingly off-gassed given its age.

Still in. Really liking this Arko, its a solid performer at a great price, and just good value. Doesn't really seem to be disappearing, althiugh its hard to tell after the stamp faded out. 2 pass shave. Also really liking the smaller brush.

If I have a brush I wish to reknot, does that count as having dropped out? Or its ok? If its counts as dropping out I shall wait till the end of the month. No biggie.

If it’s your one and only brush it would be ok, but as a B&B member in good standing order a one brush den would be rare to the extreme

If you have the supplies on hand, it's no issue at all. If you make a purchase to support the project, that will put you out, unless, as Hannes said, it is your only functional brush.

Post : dickinson witch hazel, Mennen Apres Rasage Grand Large

2 small nick hence the witch hazel rather than alum block. Good shave overall, really do not care for the soap smell.

Preshave: Hot washcloth
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Brush: Yaqi 24mm synthetic cashmere, plus cheap boar.
Razor: GC.84 SB, Al Handle, Astra SP #7
Bowl: Turkish copper
Post-shave: Nivea Balm.

Dug out a cheap, spiky boar, to give this soap some serious loading.

Tried one pass plus tidyups, and got a better result than expected, a good, quick CCS.

Got the MWF down to 28g.

Well I am out! I did pay my invoice yesterday. I did also pick up a couple of inexpensive boar brushes, a tub of Arko, and 25 shark blades. I am going to get a new synthetic brush for travelling. The boar brushes are to try to coax a couple of friends to try out wet shaving that I will be seeing Labour Day weekend. I will go for 30/31 and see you in September!
