Take your house guests with you and make them pay as a way to say thank you for letting them stay at your place. Lol!

Tell 'em you have to "run an errand," and hang with us a few hours. We'll load you up with "shopping groceries." Kind of like Robert Earl Keen's "Merry Christmas from the Family":

"Send somebody to the Stop 'N Go
We need some celery and a can of fake snow
A bag of lemons and some Diet Sprite
A box of tampons and some Salem Lights..."

I'm too far away, at over 1,000 miles. But I've often wondered what do you guys do at these get-togethers?

Shave? Compare blades? Drink?

Or all of the above?
