I sold mine last year.....................
This is interesting. While researching the Darwin Fitzwilliam Works in Sheffield England which I believe is the manufacturer of the Darwin Razor...I came across this site that says they were in operation from 1928-1953.
Congratulations! You will be pleased! IMHO Darwins are the best DE ever made. Make sure you post pictures when you get it.
I have an uncased darwin that i believe to be the standard. It is embossed with three? Lines that are on the Shank just under the head. I've not seen actual pics of one other than in a flyer. (pg. 10) someone posted on this site. It's a rather small razor, mabey a women's version? I bought it off classified ads which seemed to go unnoticed.
Had a deluxe a few years ago, it got stolen along with a watch from my kit bag in route to Somalia.

Got my Darwin standard this morning, it needs a clean and a bit of polishing but it's otherwise in great condition. Pics were taken with my cellphone.
I would love to see a Darwin in something other than a picture. I have not been that fortunate. How are you lucky enough to find so many Robin?
