I was at a farmers' market and I found some freshly made shaving soap. Both the soap maker and her husband use it for shaving. I bought the Mediterranean Lime Dead Sea Salt Spa Bar; they also had a less abrasive lavender. I have to let it cure for another week, but next week I'll give it a try and post the result.

Coconut oil as the #1 fat is going to create a very airy sudsy lather in my experience. But maybe the large amount of salt affects it somehow.
At the least I'm interested to see how it goes.

Well proraso green soap has coconut oil as the 3rd ingredient and lathers great. I have faith in the soap enjoy.
