Assange interviewed by John Pilger

I thought perhaps given the big events happening (political asylum granted by Ecuador), people may be interested in watching this:

It's from a few years ago, but it lets you hear from the man himself what his intentions are and you can make up your own mind. I'll confess that I had some ill-conceived preconceptions about Assange before viewing this. I also didn't quite appreciate the weight of the whole WikiLeaks effort.

I am not going to make any statements about Wikileaks or the role of Assange in such. But Assange is an incredibly intelligent individual. I have seen several episodes of his TV show and he is an excellent interviewer as well.

On, the other hand, John Piliger is a great journalist. I have seen many of his documentaries and read lots of his stuff. I am going to watch this later.......

Exposing criminal activity should not be a crime..Assange does not appear to be "out for the money"...but rather to expose wrong doings.I agree , a very intelligent guy.
