What's new

As do "Clothes Make the Man...."

....so it is "Grips Make the Gun." Sort of anyway.....
Finally got my 1911 clan set up the way I want. Only OEM grips I thought to be worthy were those on the Ruger .45s. Those on the SR1911 10mm were pretty bizarre. Grips on the Tisas pistols were kinda cheesy. Kimbers were OK, just not my style.
Anyway.....
Here we have The Tisas Twins (Tulipwood), Ruger Duo (not sure what wood but they look nice), Kimber Kuzzins' (Padauk), and the 10mm Heavy Hitters (Colt Delta Elite and Ruger SR1911-Cocobolo).
Moving on to the next project......

I guess I am partial to wood due to selling finishes and abrasives for the furniture industry. I don’t think there is anything better looking than the combination of steel and wood.
