art of shaving barber spa

has anybody tried a straight razor shave recently at an AOS barber spa, specifically in the DC area? although i am happy to hear thoughts from anywhere. reviews elsewhere are sparse and it sounds like you really are rolling the dice in terms of getting a good shave. i wonder how much experience their barbers have.

if you know anywhere good to get a straight razor face shave in dc, md or va. please let me know. tx

Iirc, there is a salon/lounge at the end of old town Alex above a bakery that may do what you are looking for. I can't vouch for it though.

For what it cost to get a shave in a barber shop, I would rather buy more AOS soaps.
