i like this post. i forget who said it but its very similar to "republicans are trying to go back to a time that never was and democrats are looking forward to a future that will never be".

anyway what makes me laugh is he uses CEO pay as an example of why the 40/50s weren't so bad. he seems to forget that black folks weren't allowed in certain places, women kept hitting something called the glass ceiling and of course homosexuality was stricly frowned up. way to go past!

It's a super site. A little nostalgic, and rose tinted at times perhaps, but definitely worth looking at and reading. I'm a member of their community and they have a "Real Shaving" group that is pretty active. (IIRC Mantic is over there too, & active in that group.)

Awesome site,

The article titled "How to shave like your grandpa" is what drove me to wet shaving last fall. It all started when I wanted to use a shaving brush and learned from the article there was more to consider for a quality shave. Now I have been cartridge free and in DE heaven for the last six months.

I love this site. Brings up many good points that the "new" generation has forgotten.....
