Does anyone else do this? Stuff an Arko Shave Stick Soap into a case for easy applying and advancing of the soap.

I grate my Arko shave sticks into pucks.
I press my Arko into a mug and use it like a puck. Honestly, I am not sure I have every actually used it as a stick. I have Arko in both stick and puck form. Great soap, great lather and cheap.
Arko is soft enough to be molded into many containers. The best stick container I have got is the round one from Tabac that pushes up from the bottom and can hold around 100 grams of soap.

I used to buy them strictly in Puck form.
I have taken sticks and smashed them into a 6oz Stirling tub - magical loads I tell you...
I use Arko, but not in stick form. I do use others soap sticks. No tube, or any other type of vessel, is used for sticks, other than the stick of La Toja I have.

I have an Arko stick in my travel kit, but at home I use a bowl.
I use Arko every August for the "Arko in August" event. I put it in one of the semi-clear plastic twist tubes shown above -- and that reminds me, I need to put a new stick in since I'm traveling for Thanksgiving.
I also put some home-made soap in another one, it's handy sometimes. Normally mug lather, but a change once in a while is fun.
