Arko stick soap to dry on my face/

IT SEEMS THAT WHEN I USE ARKO STICK SOAP, IT TENDS NOT TO TO STAY MOIST, AND DRYS OUT ON MY FACE, BEFORE I CAN FINISH 1 PASS.
I WET MY FACE,APPLY THE ARKO AND THEN LATHER IT UP WITH MY BRUSH.DOES ANY ONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM OR AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG?
PERHAPS CUTTING UP A STICK AND PLACING IT IN A BOWL MIGHT CREATE MORE OF A THICKER LATHER AND A LONGER MOISTURIZED LATHER ON MY FACE?
ANY COMMENTS ON APPLYING THE ARKO WILL BE TRIED.
THANKS:confused1

I've only used Arko twice but I get a great lather by applying plenty on my beard, and gradually working water in with the brush. The lather explodes and I get a brush loaded with enough for at least two more passes after the first.

When I received my first stick, I took the wrapper off it and kept pressing on it, (Using the heat from my hands to make it softer) To put it in my VDH bowl.
I have used it there ever since.

I have done the same thing but you still did not answer my questions.

I generally use the same technique as you do. Wet my face, apply ample Arko. I then also rub a little soap into the bristles of my brush (which I tend to leave a little on the wet side). Before using the brush to work the soap into lather on my face --- I rub a little water over my face to rewet the soap. Plus --- I use war --- but not overly hot water. I found that using very hot water did tend to dry out the soap on my face (for some reason)

I agree with what the other shavers said.

I have test it in face and bowl
Nothing fantastic just a simple soap to do your job
The smell reminds hospital.
