ARKO: my new excuse for owning multiple brushes

Just tried ARKO for the first time recently, and it seems like everything said about it is true... Great performer... Horrible overpowering scent!

Actually I don't find the scent that bad, but it does seem to blast over everything else, and the smell does stick around. To keep it from invading my shave on days when I am using something else, I have assigned a single brush to ARKO duty. So far this compromise seems to be working.. That and keeping the ARKO in a sealed container under the sink, far, far away from the rest of my soaps and creams.

While some of us love the Arko scent, it's not for everyone. Instead of keeping it sealed, leave it open in the basement and the scent will dissipate over time. You could also just leave it open in your closet and you'll become enamoured of the scent over time as its essence of goodness permeates your clothes. :001_wub:

I keep it sealed in a container as well, far away from my other stuff... like in another person's house, with strict orders to never bring it in my house, ever again. lol

+1 on leaving it in the open elsewhere, even though I myself don't mind the scent at all. The scent will fade considerably.

Next you will have to pick yourself up a bottle of the VEG to go with your Arko.

A match made in heaven

Even leaving it out for the smell to disappear doesn't make it smell "good", only slightly better. It makes me wonder who at Arko loves the overpowering lemon industrial cleanser smell and refuses to change it. Arko already has the lather part of the product down to near perfection. If only they'd make it smell better, they could take over the world.

Imagine an Arko product with decent fragrances!

Put Arko on your face (as a shave stick) then load your brush with cella and face lather

This smells better than either one separately.

I've never lathered it, but I'd be willing to try to if the stick had some other fragrance choice I didn't mind.
