I used my Yaqi Timber Wolf (synthetic) to lather ARKO! The brush did a wonderful job of loading soap, and the lather was great. A 7 O'clock Super Stainless in my UK Aristocrat delivered a marvelous shave.

Last night I opened a new Feather blade, my second last, and lathered up the Explorer, which is taking longer now. I thought I would have used it up before the end of this month, but it appears to be hanging in there, almost like the soap fairies are coming at night and adding soap to it.
Yeah, it is similar to Arko which, like a zombie, just refused to die either. Eventually I just had to smash it into a bowl and beat it to Death with a large boar.You know if you were using an arko stick, you wouldn't have that problem. Just Saying.
Had a great Arko shave this morning. Have a blessed day gentlemen.

Zenith bleached boar to lather ARKO! 7 O'clock Super Stainless blade in my US Aristocrat. This brush has a shorter loft than my other boars, and I tend to use it when I want to load lots of soap. On this, the brush came up a bit short: just enough lather for 2 passes, but not touchups. The razor and blade combination worked admittedly. Superb shave.

Another Arko August shave this morning. Have a blessed day everyone.
Used ye olde Arko shave stick today. In the past I have noticed that Arko is slightly drying to my skin, but it might be that I didn't have wet enough lather. Today I used a fingertip sprayer to keep the lather on the skin and brush nice and moist. The lather was a bit in the runny side but really slick. I know some don't like the scent, but to me it just smells like soap. For me this is a really good performing soap for the price.
