ARKO August is going great for me. ARKO lathers extremely well and does a great job of producing a terrific shave!
Using ARKO exclusively since July 24.

August 8th

After face lathering ARKO with my Vie Long horse hair brush, I loaded a Voskhod (8) into my Yaqi The Final Cut (on 2). The first pass was a bit rough (for the second shave in a row with this blade), so it went into the bin. One minor neck weeper.

I'm calling this one a bbs. Very good shave. The Arko never fails me. Plenty of cushioning lather. The Beehive makes short work off face lathering. Arko August is going well for me!

This is the official line up for my Arko August. Arko is in the soup container.
Feel free to steal the idea it works perfect.

Like I said, I've gone back to boar brushes for a while, maybe forever. I forgot how
much I like boars.

The pro 49 is a favorite. The black and orange in the middle I just
got at the beginning of the month from the big "A" for $6.97. That includes tax! How
can you pass that up. The orange one was another big "A" score from
last year for $6.47. It's my travel brush.

Not a flashy line-up but if I had to I could happily use it indefinitely.

You get to shave tomorrow!

I'm in the Arko MakeItUpAsYouGoGo group.

I've used it twice this month. I think I will fire it up tomorrow with the R41 and my Kent badger. The Arko will lather nicely and make that cool thwack thwack sound when going sideways on the neck.

I forgot to post this yesterday when I started my second week of ARKO Boarko Loko. For this week, I will be shaving with my T.R. Cadman "Bengall" seven-day set, Proraso Pro boar brush and ARKO of course.

Another new Turkish AS, this one is just generic fresh but post feel is good with Aloe and Chamomile. Shave was so so with the FOCS/Minora SS combo.

Farm Stay and Nivea balm post shave

Good Day Gents

Today was a great shave.
I have been working hard to break in my only boar brush. I think the tips are as soft as any other brush and works lather in the skin very well. I have some news! I checked the mail tracking and a new Semogue Excelsior 830 boar is out for delivery. I enjoyed breaking in the Italian brush and look forward to doing the same with the 830.

Stirling soaps are growing on me. If pressed, I would say they are currently in my top spot. (sorry @FarmerTan )

Post shave, I used Farm Stay Honey (it has honey, Propolis and Royal Jelly in it) followed by Nivia balm. The lotion and balm left my face soft, relaxed and smooth.

You're in - and welcome - though your committed set-up sounds more like Arko on the Down-low. If you're making some other specific commitment for the month, let me know and I'll move you into a different, more appropriate group.
