Yeah just hone the chisel in long straight passes being aware of what your doing when your running the the sides and getting to end because your using more pressure than normal and also use water.just run the blade back and forth or "hone" the chisel?????
thanks

So far my favorite with some of those pink striped translucence from earlier in the thread. You have quite an impressive collection of them as well David.I’m loving these colorful arks.
Damn! That era black Norton is my favorite of all that I've tried. It's a pity they are so hard to come by.Monstrous norton combo. The trans black is exactly like those awesome small ones in the hib sets but it is 11.5x2.5 which is just an awesome luxury with a chef's knife.View attachment 1158602View attachment 1158603View attachment 1158604
Thanks. It is semi translucent.Nice Washita, looks like the semi-translucent ones.
Was that stone wet for the pick? My Dan's blacks are not glossy. No longer have this one.
Wow, thank you for posting this one. Does it have a name?View attachment 985955 The answer is, yes!
Hey. Welcome to bnb. Yes it’s a vintage Norton. They are usually translucent or black, but this one is a little bit of both.Wow, thank you for posting this one. Does it have a name?
