I bet someone at the government HQ is breathing a sigh of relief. "now that that weights off my shoulders"

Methinks they might be tossing us a bone to draw attention away from the NSA scandal.

And unless we get confirmation from people that actually have been there, we have no way of verifying that the CIA's story about Area51 is true and complete.

Area 51's existence was admitted over 10 years ago.

As to a U-2 being mistaken for a UFO.....they leave contrails. Having seen a U-2 at about six inches distance, you're not going to mistake one on the ground for a UFO and at altitude, it's still clearly an airplane.....

This reminds me of a little while ago when one of former Members of Parliament in Canada was telling everyone that the Americans are in an alliance with one race of aliens and this that and the other thing.... a nice reminder that in a democracy even the crazy can get voted in.

Is Canada in alliance with the same race of aliens as the U.S. or a different one? If it's a different one that could get hairy. $aniufo7.gif

One story of area 51 comes to mind. A little over a decade ago a contractor who worked at area 51 fell very ill with cancer and a bazillion other unknown illnesses. He sued the U.S.GOVT not for money, but for them to pay his medical bills due to the burn pit they have there. He was the supervisor in charge of the pit to make sure evertlything that was in there burned a 1000%. To say it was not OSHA or environmentally approved is putting it lightly. In this burn pit every experimental fuel, and toxic waste was burned. Once in court the govt denied there was a place even called area 51 thus dentlying him medical coverage. It was a brutal legal battle which the lawyers for the guy received death threats. That's not all. Even the judge got a death threat from....the govt. To say the judge was peeved is an understatement. The guy loved this country but couldn't get his medical bills taken care of. Wonder whatever happened to his case.
