Are Wahl DE safety razors descent quality?

Okay. I'm new to the whole safety razor/wet shaving game. Just trying to decide on a first safety razor. I'd like to get something decent. Any suggestions? Would a Wahl be a good or a bad idea? Thanks

I checked out the razors from Wahl. They look like exclusively designed with a player in China, rather than just stamped Wahl on generic models. The head for the straight bar razor, which looks like the Merkur HD is a new one to me. I've always seen EJ style heads.

I feel that for the price, which isn't over the top, you can't go wrong - my 2 cents.
