Are Happy Socks thicker than, say, gold toes or standard dress socks - if not, who?

I ask because I find I prefer a slightly larger overall shoe with slightly thicker socks than the alternative, and as such my shoes are a little loose with traditional gold toe et al dress socks. Hoping the more durable socks like Happy will offer a bit more thickness as well. If not, anyone have "thick" dress sock suggestions?

Many thanks!

I've never tried happy socks, but I had a pair of smartwool socks that are a bit thicker, but get pretty warm in 80 degree weather

80 degree weather? Sounds like heaven (104 in Fort Worth today- no, it's not a dry heat).

On edit: changed "ni" to "no". Damn autocorrect- I do not want a shrubbery.

I have a pair of Happy Socks, they might be slightly thicker than normal. But, in 104 heat, who can tell.

Smartwool has a couple thicknesses to their dress socks. It just depends on the level you want. I can't wear cushioned dress socks with my dress shoes but I wear their medium weight hiking socks daily in the 100+ degree kitchen. Screw cotton socks. Never again. NEVER AGAIN! :)
