Are All Shavettes Created Equal?

I'm going to pick one up for travel and perhaps the rare hare-up-my-*** shave (I do sorely miss my beloved Feather Hi-Stainless).

Aside from the shavette-upon-steroids known as the Feather AC and Feather Nape razors... is there really any difference?

The Dovo has those plastic cartridges to hold half a DE. Most others you just slide them in.

Thoughts?

I highly recommend the stainless Dovo Shavette with the green insert for the rigid, full-size SE blades. I previously owned an inexpensive Ustura shavette that took snapped in half DE blades -- no comparison. The rigid blades are much closer to the real thing and the plastic sleeve makes the blade far more forgiving.

I haven't tried the Feather version, so I really can't comment on it.

The DOVO WITH A GREEN INSERT AND SHAVETTE BLADE IS A GREAT SHAVER. THE SHAVE IS LONG LASTING AND CLOSE. A GREAT CHOICE FOR TRAVELLING OR AS A BACKUP.
