Are 7 o'clock Permasharps as good as they used to be?

Most of the reviews I see of this blade are favorable, but about five years old (such as Squire's). Has anyone here tried these blades in the past and purchased new ones to attest that they are as good as ever?

These are the ones produced in India, correct?

They seem to get the least mention of all the 7 O'Clocks.
I guess the others - even the Russian greens - are better liked.

I purchased some of these blades last year but have no experience with older blades. For me they work very well in all razors I use them in.

i found them average. not the best but far from the worst. a decent overall blade but imo the india blacks are much better

If we are talking about the Indian 7o'clock Permasharp, then +1. They are my favourite blade and I have ~3,000 of them.

That's the one! Wow, how many shaves do you get per blade? I get 2 or 3. At that rate, with a stock of 3000, you'd be set for the next 20 years or so.

My favorite blade. Love them. Distinctly better than the Russian green "Super Stainless" 7 O'Clock.
