Aqua Di Parma Cream - please explain

So I got Acqua Di Parma Collezione Barbiere - the brown bottle - which I think was Ten 1 and then 2.
Subsquently the 3rd version is yellow bottle.
My question - how is the 2d version ? Is that comparable to 1 and 3 in terms of performance?
All are meant to be lathered with brush- correct?

Ten 1 and 2? I have the original and an unused second version with the aquatic aroma. I would not believe that any would not lather up fine due to their price points.

Yellow jar (v3) is a bit better than the brown lid (v2), and a lot better than the silver lid (v1), in terms of (lather) performance, ime.

Yellow jar and silver lid are Colonia-scented.

All versions are brush-style, though any of them can be used brushless in a pinch.
