What's new

Apollo Mikron

I won a Mikron today and really did not thought that I should end up winning this razor. I do not yet have razor so cant provide any better pictures, sorry! I wonder, because my razor looks a little bit squeezed or dinged and maybe some chipping as well, can those razors be replated? ow can I tell if it's potmetal or not? Paid a little bit to much in my opinion now when I look at pictures! My fault, I know! Also, can someone tell me roughly what age it is?

Thank you ladies and gents!

1950's-1960's. This looks like an earlier one. Pot metal, maybe some aluminum. It looks like it will clean up with soap and water. One of the great razors. Easy to clean and take apart. I think replating is problematic but this does not look terrible. Mainly dried on soap and dirt in the plastic adjustment knob. All that will shine after dish washing detergent, soft tooth brush and hot water. Going to shave with mine this morning.
