Which do you prefer and why? I've tried both and am leaning towards the cream, which I think makes me crazy since the soap has tallow and tallow is king round these here parts! 
AOS soap vs AOS cream

I've tried both, but will stick with AoS soaps from here on out. The sandalwood is great. As for creams, I've found that I really like the stuff from Truefitt and TOBS better than AoS.
AOS to me means Soap--I CAN HONESTLY SAY

I have the lemon and sandalwood in both. Both their soaps and creams a top-shelf. But, If I had to choose between them, I'd go with the soaps.
I feel like soaps are more readily defended and lauded on B&B. That said, I too cast a vote for soap. Lemon, Sandalwood, then Lavender, in that order; though sometimes Sandalwood sneaks ahead...

I've tried the Sandalwood in both...I'm a sucker for scents and the cream is slightly stronger in that department, IMO. More study is needed!
I agree. They're both nice but the cream is stronger.
I tried a sample of the unscented cream that I was given at an AOS store, and it burned and was unpleasant. I have a puck of the lemon scented soap my girlfriend gave me, and I absolutely love it!! For creams, I'll stick with something like TOBS, but the AOS soap is awesome stuff!!
