AOS soap equivalent

Hi all,
I've been using the AOS sandlewood soap and am now looking for a cheaper refill. Any ideas as to what brands will fit in the AOS wooden bowl?

Isn't most of the AOS stuff re-branded? what is the original?

Thanks!

I'm a big fan of DR Harris, which I think will fit. A bar of Mike's Natural would be even cheaper. It's a softer soap that you can easily press into the bowl.

Valobra makes AOS hard soap. I don't think it's re-branded. I think it's just made to their specs.

The Virgilio Valobra factory, now owned by Guglielmo Valobra (grandnephew of the legendary Virgilio), is the actual manufacturer of his own branded soaps, AoS and C&S.

Any soap will fit into any bowl..... it's soap, it smooshes!

I wouldn't even want to have to smoosh Tabac or Williams, a triple-milled soap would be a disaster to attempt to smush into a bowl. A melt and pour like VDH or Conk's could be melted and dumped into the bowl, however. Arko and GZD are smushable but they are the execption, not the rule.
