Aos sandlewood edt questions

Hello everyone and thanks in advance
I really enjoy aos sandlewood shave cream/soap/as so is the edt the same scent? Is it pretty strong or weak? Last a long time? Anywhere to get a sample? Thought i would check before I drop $70 on it

I think it's similar to the soap and sfter shave balm but not identical. It's built on the same creamy, soapy sandalwood base as those two but there's an additional eucalyptus/medicinal note in the top. I really like it and find it to have very good projection and longevity.

Like BillC said, it's pretty good. But it does have that medicinal note, especially to start that can be a bit odd to some.

I will +3 the medicinal note. Disclaimer: AOS Sandalwood is my longest used and favorite product in my lineup.

I recently went to the local AOS store and tried it out, along with a few other products. I found the Sandalwood edt to be good, but not great. For the price, I can think of alot of other things I would prefer spending my money on. This is not a home-run product like their Sandalwood soap, cream or AS. My $.02

The first time I wore this several years ago, it have me a headache. I had to shower to get rid of the scent. I did not try it again until a couple of years later. You should wear this juice sparingly. I like it very much.

I haven't purchased this (on my B-day/Xmas list) but every time I drop into the store, I spray some on. Good stuff. I would say it's not identical to cream/aftershave, but it's close.

I was in the AOS store yesterday and sprayed some of this and the Lemon, its pretty strong to strong for me. The Lemon EDT is alright too, but I have others I prefer.

It's very similar to the cream and soap. Like others said a slight medicinal note that I find fades after an hour or so. Then it smells like the cream/soap for a good 8 hours. I bought a sample from Gary's sample shop along with Trumpers sandalwood cologne. When the aos runs out I plan to buy more samples until I can get a full bottle.

Creams and aftershave balms often affect some of the top notes and possibly a mid note of an EDT that is mixed into them, so don't be surprised if there is a slight difference when you try the EDT.

The eucalyptus note in the beginning is indeed odd, and has probably put heaps of people off buying the AOS Sandalwood. But it has very good longevity, will easily last a working day, and that opening notes disappears after about 30 to 45 minutes.

I sampled it in a store and liked it very much. The opening notes are indeed unexpected, but turn out to be a nice surprise. I'm just put off a little by the price. But Christmas is just around the corner, right?!

This was one of the first full bottles I bought when I started getting into scents. I remember at the time thinking I was insane for spending that on a little bottle of cologne... Oh what a slippery slope this is...

I like it a lot. Quite similar to the scent of their shaving soap. It's strong and the atomizer dispenses relatively little, so the bottle seems to be lasting forever.
