I have a puck of AOS sandalwood that is about 5 months old. It usually gets used at least once a week, but lately I've been on a T+H cream run.
Took it out today, and the edges of the soap had turned a much darker brown. I keep the soap in heavy ceramic ramekin uncovered and under the sink. Could it be the dry Chicago winter air? Does AOS not use preservatives, which I've heard is the case with Cella?
In any case, I lathered up and got a good shave. No off smell or decline in performance. Just wondering about others' possible experiences with this.
