AOS Ocean Kelp

Does anyone else like this one as much as I do? The scent is awesome (citrusy but not overpowering), the cream does a great job of being slick and the jar is huge for $25. I am happy I picked this up.

Me too, was in Frisco ( I'm from England) and found the AOS shop, bought that and the sandlewood, both really great, wish I had got more

CF:

I love the scent AND the performance. I also like going into the AOS store and chatting with the pretty sales ladies.

Last time I was in they said their Master Barber offers disposable straight razor shaves . . . for $65.00! I'll pass, thank you very much.

Enjoy your Ocean Kelp and your shaves.

Finally got a chance to sniff Ocean Kelp in Nordstroms. Frankly, although I am sure it is a fine product, the scent underwhelmed me.

I did buy another Sandalwood cream tub. Though they are very different, I think Prorasso and AoS make the two best Sandalwood products around.

And yes, the pretty saleswomen help make the experience!

I love the performance but they should have named it something else.

Yeah, name doesn't really give much insight to the scent (which I really like, BTW). I believe they say there is ground up kelp in the cream, hence the mention.

An ingredients list printed on the label would have been nice. From the Web site:

Aqua (Water), Stearic Acid, Myristic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Coconut Acid, Fragrance, Triethanolamine, Sodium Hydroxide, Palmitic Acid, Methylparaben, Lauric Acid, Propylparaben, Diethanolamine

The aftershave balm has kelp extract and the pre-shave gel has "marine extract" (whatever that means).

I've smelled it, and it seemed decent but didn't wow me. I might consider trying it out if they release it in a soap, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards.

I like its performance and cost / size ratio. Fragrance is great but at the end of this tub Im going back to my AoS Lemon....because I think its more "true to its name"

A friend of mine (one of my converts) went to an AOS store and bought us both one. I like the smell and love the performance. Good stuff.
