AOS Lavender

I recently bought a tub of the AOS Lavender. When I opened it up, I noticed the top surface was hard-almost like a semi-hardened soap. My prior purchases were fine but this one is puzzling. I scooped a dollop out and found the top layer was indeed like a hardened paste.

Is there a good way to reconstitute the cream?

yes, there is.

take about a teaspoon of water and add it on top of the cream. screw the lid on and leave it for about a day. then, take a spatula and mix the softened top layer with the rest of the cream. if the cream is still dry, put another teaspoon in, screw the lid on and wait for another day and mix again.

i've taken some very very dry AOS lavender cream that wouldn't even budge with a stiff soap brush and reconditioned it back to a soft pliable form. it just takes a bit of time and mixing
