AoS Finest 16mm Travel brush for $16

Sorry guys didn't mean to trick you, or maybe I did :001_tt2:...

I picked up the sampler kit that normally runs $25 back in November for free when they were having a promotion. I liked the products and unlike many my brush didn't lose many hairs but I found that I didn't like the grade of badger hair they used. I mainly face lather and I've noticed my skin feels much better with finest badger or softer.

Well I figured I needed a better travel solution so I picked up a 16mm finest knot from TGN, after some surgery I now have a new travel brush that I feel will fare much better than before (if it's anything like the 24mm finest I have from TGN).

The kit for those that are unfamiliar:

Didn't take any of mine up close but here is one with the knot removed:

Glued (JB Welded actually) in place:

Next to his big brother from the full size starter kit (22mm silvertip waiting to go into the big one for the same reason):

Very nicely packed for such a small knot!:

Planning on letting it set over night and test it out tomorrow. Will give my impressions and bloom shots then. It's set to about a 48mm loft and I'll mainly use it for creams when traveling.

Nice. I would likely have set it lower for such a small knot, but for creams it ought to give you a much better experience than the original knot.

I was thinking the same actually but the original knot was actually set a bit higher and was not nearly as dense, I used that with my AoS soap a few times and it worked fine for me. I think it'll be fine where it's at.
