You all seen these? I need another knife like I need another (....fill in the blank here), but these appear to be a nice bit of goods for a quite reasonable price. I have first hand working knowledge of the filet knives which are made from old auto leaf springs. I bought my Dad such a knife about 40 years ago for $20; blade was made from an old Chevy leaf spring blade. That knife has cleaned more fish over the years than pass through the Fulton St. Market and has kept a silly sharp edge since day one. When necessary, it resharpens as easy an anything I have ever put on a stone. File tool steel is good stuff too. More I think about it...I'm buying one of these.
