Anything like the VDH boar without the shedding?

I like everything about the VDH boar's except the trouble shedding. I like the densely packed loft and the tips have really well on mine.
Mine broke in after a month of regular use and lost one hair a shave only. But after six months the shedding is accelerating and I think this spells the end.

Is there a boar brush out there that is very similar in design, but features a significantly longer service life?

Thank You,
Tamas

P.S.: Please don't recommend badger brushes.

There is also the 2000, which has a higher loft.

It must be hit and miss with the VDH boars. I have an $8 boar from Walgreens that hasnt shed over half a dozen hairs in the 9 months ive had it. Then I have a boar that came with the Target Luxury Set that sheds that many every use and I gave up on it. I also have a VDH bager that has only shed a couple hairs but have only used it three or four times. I like my $8 boar quite well and am glad its one of the better ones. I also have an Omega 10066. Not as dense as the VDH but it is a fine brush and doesnt shed.

Any of the Semoque brushes will give you great service. I highly recommend the Semoque 1305. I don't remember it every having shed any hair. The trick is to dry it out (shake it out after rinsing - then towel dry without pulling on the hair) before putting it up. I have two Semoque brushes and switch them out after two shaves to give them time to dry out completely. You don't want to keep a wet knot.

Hi, I appreciate everyone's recommendations.

I do have the 620 which split all its ends after the fifth use and never shed a single hair.
It is a totally awesome little brush, but does not hold enough lather for my preference.
Perhaps I am not patient enough to wait for it to open/loosen up when it will hold more.

That SOC sure looks like a ticket to boar brush heaven. I have not read a bad review about it.

Right now the Vie-Long Zurito (I purchased but did not use for a while) is leading the race to replace my VDH until the right time for an SOC.

Keep using the 620 and enjoy it. Do you bowl or face lather? The soap/cream is right there at hand so you can alway reload after second pass for more lather. Its a great little brush.
