Anyone use a magnification mirror while shaving?

Has anyone used a magnification mirror while shaving?

I am curious if this helps with technique as another form of visual feedback?

I use it all the time at hotels. Frankly, I think it makes me obsess more, and its a little confusing as well because you are seeing a much bigger area than your hand is navigating (which also magnifies, but still). On the plus side, you see more of what you missed (refer my 'obsess more' comment)

Having said all of that, I've gotten used to them - and am in two minds whether I like magnification or not.

I always use a mirror. I pay particular attention near the areas I dont want to shave or at "trouble area"..

I havnt but my mrs has just bought a mirror that flips. So im going to give that a try, I can imagine as people say that it can make you obsess more. Time will tell.

Only a couple of times in hotels. Very odd experience. I'm thinking of getting one for the shower as an option to see if, over time, it is a positive.

I don't see any benefit. I have no problem shaving without a mirror. I shaved for years in the shower by feel before taking up cold water shaving.
