Anyone try Noodlers Nikita?

All,

I have a standard black (Watermans) and a blue (aforementioned Herbin Bleu Ocean)....needed a red for my paperwork reviews....anyone use Noodlers Nikita? Goulet's website and a couple of glasses of Glenlivet won me over...

Curious to hear reviews if any B&Bers have used it!

Just saw Rick posted some pics of some heavy lines of Nikita in the Calligraphy thread...knew if I searched long enough I'd find it...looks like blood its a dark red!

A great red that will "stand out". Consider it a "red's red" if you will ... designed to be really red, not 'red with a hint of ... " or dark or faded or orangy or whatever.

Great thanks doc! How much will it bleed through "normal" non FP paper? The paper I'm doing corrections on is not usually Rhodia or Clarefontaine

You should be good to go with a fine or medium nib.... just stay away from the broads

It's the only red I use, and I love it. I was about to post those photos from the calligraphy thread in here, until I read this post...lol.
