I have tried both of these creams and they both rock. Haven't heard anybody else talk about them though....anybody? Would love to hear others' impressions. I got mine through Leon and will be ordering more...viva Portugal!

Don't say that! I have been eyeballing them for weeks now. One good shove and over the edge I go.
With that in mind, what do they smell like? Are they lanolin, tallow or glycerin based?

I have an unopened tube of O Melhor since January... That's what SCAD does to you, too many creams and too little time

I used Veleiro a few times, two this week. It is a very nice cream. A small amount produces a large amount of lather. The scent, as expected, is very fresh and "marine". Keep in mind that "Veleiro" in Portuguese means "Sailing ship".

Yep, my ingredient list says it has glycerin and lanolin (and coconut oil). Nice stuff.
I gotta try this stuff. I'm addicted to lanolin shaving creams lately. I haven't stopped using Godrej Menthol Mist for a couple weeks now.
Hey! I tried Veleiro before I even used a DE and knew anything about serious wet shaving, and even with my little experience I could tell that it was the best shaving item I got until that time. After that, well you know...all kinds of AD!
