Anyone tried these blades?

Received as part of a free sample with my new soap. What the heck is Cryo sputtered platinum?

Platinum atoms grafted onto the edge of a blade by a machine that basically "sputters" atoms by sending them at high speed in a special chamber toward the blade edges. At least, that's my lay man understanding of the process.

Cryogenic treatment & sputtering are two separate processes.
Cryo involves cooling the blade down to liquid nitrogen temperatures for a while to improve metallurgical properties.
Sputtering is a very fine deposit of metal vapour on the edges of the blades by the sputtering process outlined above.

Oh yes. A big one.

Stainless blades were launched a while ago, but didnt really take off until sputtering & PTFE coatings were added to the edge.

+1! This is also my understanding. Once the improved SS blades arrived, they conquered the market because they were so far superior to everything else.

I tried 3 samples of the Super-Max super stainless blades. I was pleasantly surprised by them. They worked for me.
