What's new

Anyone tried Bonny Doon Farm colognes?

I am interested to try out their Sandalwood, Bay Rum, Lavender, and Uplands colognes. Most particularly, the Sandalwood.

I haven't heard anything in the way of reviews for any of them.

I see Bullgoose is carrying them though. That must mean something.

Have you guys tried and of these out?

Thanks :001_smile

Just peeked at Basenotes. Boony Doon apparently has two lavenders: Eau de Cologne and Spirits of Lavender. Wonder which one Nid reviewed?

Their muscat has a fine bouquet.

I didn't realize they produced wines as well. I'll take a look in the US section next time I'm in the wine section.

I'm considering just buying blind on a couple of their fragrances. There is no chance I'm going to find samples anywhere.
Good to hear that the Lavender has at least one good review.

They're my neighbors and sadly I admit to only trying the soap. They use their own English lavender grown on the farm.

The wines are from different folks.

I haven't, but IIRC The Nid Hog has (at least) used and posted about the lavender. He liked it--a LOT!

I had to think about that for a while. I don't think that I've tried any of their frags, although I've drank a bottle or three of Bonny Doon wine (I'm somehow relieved that Doug says they are different companies). The lavender that I really like is from Caldey Island. Those monks might not have much to say, but they can knock together a fantastic lavender aftershave.
