Anyone remember the Pre de Provence Sage?

I ran out a couple of years ago and discovered that the company no longer produces it (or any cologne, apparently). I really miss that stuff and I am looking for a substitute. It was certainly redolent of sage in a concentrated heady sort of way--very crisp and not grassy or woody. It was slightly reminiscent of Irish Spring soap. Thanks in advance for replies.

Sounds like it would have been great.Too bad.
The sage scent of Pre De Provence soap is phenomenal.

They are still in business and make aftershaves and balms.

Good luck finding anything resembling it. I don't know how it smells exactly, but assuming that the old soap (without shea butter listed in the ingredients) is in the same family... The closest I've been able to find, distant relatives twice removed and being optimistic at that, are tarragon-based Trumper's GFT and thyme and basil-based Bodyshop's Kistna. I agree that sage would make a lovely fresh cologne, but alas, it appears that using these common herbs is beneath most houses.
