I'm new to this forum and so far it has more than exceeded my expectations. I've been a wet shaver for a year, but only have rudimentary knowledge of the craft. I've learned a ton from this forum of shaving jedi masters
Anyway, I'm eyeing a Gillette Bulldog officer's set that was issued during WWII. A very hefty price but a beautiful razor. I don't want to invest the $ just to add eye candy to my collection, but will invest if this is a great shaver that offers something I don't already have. Anyone know anything about the Bulldog? I have a couple of vintage open comb Gillettes, including a 1905 single ring. How does the Bulldog compare? If it uses the same head I probably wont get it, but I'm not exactly sure if this is a different head than most of the other vintage Gillette open combs. If anyone has any experience with this razor I would love to hear about it. Thanks
