I made it. Yes, 26mm synthetic knot.

Ahhh, but how did you stripe it?!? I see wood grain, I believe. The bluetiger tree doesn’t grow in my neck of the woods.

It is Birch wood. A lot of lamination with dye!

Ok. I've said it before I'm not generally a fan of the ply blanks. However you are making them grow in me. That one looks sweet. Especially the third picture. And as I've said before your fit and finish are spot on. I believe you said you use CA finish. Is that correct? Either way I really like the satin finish you are getting. It looks absolutely flawless and really lets the wood shine through. If you keep this up I may have to give birch ply a try.
