Alterna BAMBOO Thickening Gel Lotion with SPF 15 Scalp Shield.

I am fair skinned, have thinning hair and have had some skin issues-so with summer coming I'm curious about this stuff and its effectiveness. Need opinions, and if possible where to purchase this stuff in NYC. Thanks all!
