Anyone else thought of re-hairing old brushes?

I just re-knoted my crappy VDH boar brush with a silvertip from The Golden Nib.
It's fabulous, and the total: ~$24
Much cheaper than even a C&E Best Badger Brush.

I did the same thing. It's kind of cool to give the handle of a cheapo brush a new lease on life.

BTW, do you turn your own handles??? Rudy Vey Custom Brushes....has a nice ring to it.
