Anyone else feel guilty....

when they don't shave for a day?

I overslept this morning and didn't have time. I went into the bathroom to start my morning rituals and stared sadly at al the shaving equipment I would not be using this morning.

It made me feel a little guilty for having all this and then ignoring it.

To make up for it, I ordered 100 feather blades when i got to work.

Anyone else experience this?

Maybe not guilty, but just a bit uncomfortable from the stubble, well that and having a dryer sheet stuck to the side of my face after pulling on a sweatshirt. :)

Not guilty as such. I just look upon it as a day to give my face a bit of a rest from the relentless quest of a cool, clean, comfortable shave. Sometimes we can overdo it and make things uncomfortable in shaving too much.

I find that if I leave things for a day, I usually get a much closer and cleaner shave the following day if that makes sense.

as someone who shaves 2x a day (!!) missing a shave is very annoying. I sit and play with my stubble all the time and its super annoying, so I do my best not to miss a single one.

Guilt? No.

Never-ending remorse coupled with a desire to crawl naked over broken glass in penance? Sure!

Perhaps this was more of what i was feeling! I'm sure the feathers will punish me in a similar fashion to broken glass if my technique isn't up to par!

Not one bit of guilt. A good straight or DE shave lasts me 2 days anyway. If I go 3 or 4 I don't care. I'm retired and if I have to shave for something then I will. :thumbup1:

Nope...I always get better shaves after a day off...so during the day off, I'm thinking about how good the next day's shave will be!

I don't feel guilty about it, but it does get a little irritating...every time I turn my head it sounds like sand paper as the stubble on my neck brushes up against my shirt collar.
Or when I go to lay down that night and I keep hearing this noise and wonder what the hell it is...then I realize it's the sound of my stubble trying to Velcro my face to my pillow, then it scares me.
