Hi all,
So I have officially been converted to shaving with a DE razor. The simplicity of shaving with one of these tools has been tremendous, and the results are slowly improving on my neckline....I have dealt with severe razor burn and ingrown hairs for the past 10 years (I'm currently 27 years old), and am very thankful for this forum and the tips that everyone has shared with me thusfar.
From suggestions received, I ended up ordering a sample pack from Westcoastshaving.com, and received a variety of razor blades that I have been trying over the past month. Some of them work better than others. The one that I have found to provide me with the best results would be the Derby DE safety razors. Others within the sample pack have destroyed my neck, so I am glad that I have had the opportunity to try several different blades and find the option that works best for me.
Even though the Derby blades seem to be working best, many people have suggested that I should give the Feather DE razors a shot. My facial hair is extremely coarse, thick and dense. From suggestions, Feather blades are supposed to be the sharpest, and most efficient for bears like mine.
I have been searching online for a pack of Feather blades to order (small sample packs) before I go ahead and purchase a pack of 25+. The prices are fairly reasonable, however the shipping costs kill the deal for me!
Would anybody be kind enough to send me a pack of 5 or so, and I could re-imburse you for the costs? The packs seem so light that an envelope in the USPS mail with a stamp should be sufficient.
Or, if anybody knows of a website that I could order these blades, without having to pay shipping costs, I would greatly appreciate it...Most of the sites that I have visited charge anywhere from $3-7 for a pack of 5 feather blades, but shipping charges are $6-10.
Your help once again would be greatly appreciated. If anybody is kind enough to do so, please let me know and I will message you my home address. I will also send a check for the costs of the blades as well.
Thanks again,
