any one have experience with meindl boots

Meindl in the United States are distributed in the USA through a sporting goods retailer called Cabela's under the Cabela's by Meindl name. The names and specs differ somewhat from the European line, but quality and performance are identical. Phenomenal boots. I've personally used the Denali for early season hunts, while for elk, sheep, and late-season hunts use the Perfekt Hunter. It took a lot of influencing to get me to switch from Danner boots, but I honestly don't think I'd ever go back.

I owned a pair under the Cabela's brand name. Those were one of the best pair of boots I've ever owned! I wore them at least 2/3 days a week for the better part of 4 years. Light weight and felt like wearing a sneakers, but still durable enough for a few days in the backcountry. I had some pesticide spill on them and ate the soles up, I was pretty bumbed to see them go. I'll be getting another pair in the near future
