Any Kilt Wearers here?

Hi folks, I haven’t posted anything in a while but thought I’d ask “are any of you kilt wearers ?” I just got into kilts (literally) a few months ago and really like them, despite the fact I have a rather dubious Scot or Irish ancestry.

I’m interested to know what type of kilts and various accoutrements you have or prefer and any general comments you may have.

I have the whole get-up, save the ghillie brogues. I just wear regular dress shoes when semi-formal or boots when casual.

Mind you, I haven't worn my kilt in 2 years as I put on weight from smoking cessation. But one day...

What did the Scotsman do the door-to-door pants salesman?

He kilt him.

My grandson came back from a trip to Scotland. He is 11 years old. He came back sporting a kilt. I asked him what he is wearing under the kilt. He replied "Nothing. If I wore anything it would be considered a skirt."
