The gift of putting a smile on someone's face without ever having to say a word. That's the essence of John Candy, to yours truly. All of my favorites have already been listed. I'm glad someone thought to mention SCTV, which reminds me of a few funny scenes in the movie Armed and Dangerous, with Eugene Levy, including the one where Candy is dressed in drag, and Eugene in leather. Funny stuff.
