That's what I thought. I can see an indentation slot where something is missing. The one odd bit is the blade bank is USA made, how it ended up in a British set is a mystery. I'm a sucker for gold.This one, maybe -missing the cufflinks...and gold.

Seller claims it was never used but I have my doubts. Yes it's still in great shape and will make a fine user. I need more open combs in my life.
I know what you mean. I have a #22 that had the same claim. The rhodium is clouded. I'm guessing it's a sure sign of use.
