This was found in my house today. It simply says it has a detachable head and handle, and must be hand-washed. The bottom is empty, but has threading,so something goes in there. Any idea what thiscould be? Is it a shaving brush of some sort?

Still wondering if this is a shaving brush. No idea why it'd have a removable handle (that is long lost). Maybe boar? There is also a LOT of gunk in the brush. DEFINITELY NOT soap or cream.

That may be it! It just looks like a shaving brush, so I had to find out.
Beauty salons often use brushes similar for talc. Could this be one of those?
