Any idea for inexpensive badger with short loft ?

Hi,

I need a second brush. Should inexpensive that I can carry with me to the gym and etc... I have been looking at Simpson Berkeley, Case (comes with the tube) Special - which is the cheapest or maybe Commodore ?

I like Small handle and short loft. I have ordered the EJ BBB in small but I need a second brush, without breaking the bank.
Comments and ideas are welcome.

Thanks !

Rooney 1/1 in Pure, $45 at Classic. Short loft (shorter brush than a Simpson's Special), fits in most vintage brush tubes, holders, pill bottles, etc.

No need to sacrifice quality for convenience.

Thanks again guys, I appreciate your help ! So many different choices...
I will keep you all posted.

Ha! You beat me to it! That little brush is killer. It comes with it's own travel tube, too. If you lost or destroyed it, you wouldn't feel terrible about it, nor would you break the bank replacing it.

See the bottom of the first page for pics. That's one firm brush, for sure, and it's awesome for soap. Great backbone and feels nice on the face.

Andy, would you also recommend the Simpson's Commodore X1?

Absolutely! It's a great mid-priced brush. It's a little more expensive than that Omega, but it's all Best Badger, has great backbone, and soft tips. A nice option if one were totally against buying a boar or boar/badger mix.

However, for something to drag to the gym, to take out of town for work, etc., I would go with the Omega because it's so inexpensive. I'd feel pretty bad if I lost any Simpsons brush.
